The DEHNguard ® SU/MU product family is applicable for all common electrical power systems in North America, the SPDs are UL 1449 4rd Edition certified and do not need an additional overcurrent protection.

DEHNbloc Modular for North America

The modular DEHNbloc MU series are UL 1449 4th Ed. Type 1 Component Assembly and therefore ready for an easy installation into many electrical products. The very high discharge current capacity of 75 kA (10x350 µs) due to DEHN’s patented lightning arrester gap technology enables the SPD to resist powerful lightning strikes and therefore protect your electrical system and gear. The DEHNbloc three-pole has also remote contacts and a visual non-power consuming status indication for each plug-in protection module.

DEHNguard modular for North America

The pre-assembled, modular DEHNguard SU/MU devices with UL 1449 (VZCA 2 & 8) approval are the perfect choice for protecting your electrical systems and devices. The installation of the DEHNguard SU/MU does not require any additional overcurrent protection and has a short-circuit withstand capability (SCCR) of 200 kA.

Protection Module for DEHNguard M UL series

The DEHNguard SU/MU products are modular so that in the rare event that a module is damaged, it is easy to replace without rewiring the SPD. The modules and the terminal block base are keyed to prevent an errors during installation and are shock & vibration tolerant tested to the EN 60068 international standard.
